Friday, April 30, 2021 As another month closes in the odyssey of Mother Earth as it travels with the Moon, Sun and planets in the much-larger and mysterious orbital dance around the center of our galaxy, don’t be surprised if edgy, nervous feelings are more prominent than usual. The main reason is that April ends with an emphatic celestial occurrence — the Sun and Uranus make their annual merger at 11 degrees Taurus (12:55pm but definitely influential throughout this 24-hour time-period). Anything goes, jack-in-the-box, surprises from left field, lightning-like and idiosyncratic events abound while old ways of doing things, rules and conventions temporarily step off center stage. Adding to the carnival-like atmosphere are the Sun forming an inspirational, 72-degree quintile aspect with giant Jupiter (2:44am), Ceres contra-parallel Neptune (3:05am), the Moon contra-parallel Mars (3:59am) and trine Ceres in fire signs (4:09am), Mercury taking an off-kilter, 150-degree swipe at Juno (4:46am) and the Moon in Sagittarius connecting with Jupiter in Aquarius via a supportive, 60-degree rapport (6:28am) which triggers a void lunar cycle that ends when the Moon enters earthy Capricorn (9:17am). Making sense of this whirlwind and brouhaha of cosmic disparity is hard to decipher. It doesn’t help to create peace and tranquility when the Moon opposes Mars (4:52pm) and Venus intermingles with Saturn in a potentially stress-inducing contra-parallel (6:13pm). Keep Hope Alive should be the refrain everyone is thinking, feeling and acting upon as May 2021 beckons you with open arms.
