The following entry from my Daily Cosmic Kalendar is being provided to everyone beginning Monday August 5 on our website and on various online outlets because Sunday August 11 is one of the most powerful turning points of the summer and all of 2019.
Sunday Aug 11, 2019 While the moon in the last earth sign Capricorn offers a modicum of stability and common sense, Jupiter ceases its retrograde motion at 15 degrees of Sagittarius (6:38am) to turn direct while only 13 hours later Uranus at 7 degrees of Taurus (7:28pm) stops its direct motion to turn retrograde. To have two major planets halt their movement in the heavens on the same day is to remind earthlings to be extra careful with decision-making. Mercury making a caustic, 135-degree tie to Jupiter (2:02am), Venus forming an off-kilter, 150-degree link to Neptune (10:44am) and Mercury entering Leo (12:47pm) until August 29 only add extra question marks to a day already unfathomable in its ramifications.
Look over the key themes of Jupiter and Uranus with a fine-tooth comb. Regarding Jupiter, zero in on the power of positive thinking, goal-orientation, literary and educational pursuits, seeing the shape of things to come, providence and benevolence, good fortune, Big Business, long-distance journeys as well as pride, arrogance, hubris and overdoing a good thing. It is important to keep in mind that while Jupiter is no longer retrograde, it has virtually no forward motion for the next few days. Therefore, leaping ahead with all kinds of large-scale ventures may be premature in their efficacy. (Jupiter will remain in direct motion until May 14, 2020 when it will go retrograde at 28 degrees of Capricorn.)
Regarding Uranus, focus your attention on surprises, revolution and radical change, intuition, eccentricity, the multi-media and high technology, advances in science and industry, aviation and space travel, the occult and metaphysics, jokers and wild cards, drawing outside the box, anxiety and the nervous system, upheavals and anarchy. Even though the exact Uranus station occurs at 7:28pm, the reality is that this entire 24-hour time-period is under the strange, magical, and topsy-turvy dynamics that astrologers have associated with this peculiar planet since its discovery during the year of America’s revolutionary victory against Mother England in 1781. (Uranus will remain retrograde until it makes its next direct station at 3 degrees of Taurus on January 10, 2020.)
