AstroFlash: The Upcoming Potent Full Moon, Sun-Mercury Superior Conjunction and Uranus Station on Fr

As a courtesy to the thousands of readers, subscribers and friends who have supported our Daily Cosmic Kalendar during the last 38+ years – as well as our pioneering astrological journal Welcome to Planet Earth (in print 1981 – 2000) and our various websites, including the present www.greatbearenterprises.com – I am publishing the future entry in the Cosmic Kalendar for Friday January 10, 2020 along with Saturday, Sunday and Monday January 11 - 13, 2020.

Once you read through the descriptions on these 4 days, it will be obvious why it is important to spread the word – ahead of time – to astrological students and professionals about the growth opportunities and the hazards of these key dates in the first month of the New Year when so many provocative conjunctions of celestial orbs will happen along with a torrent of other profound heavenly alignments inundating Mother Earth.

However, the entire sequence of 9 days – starting Friday January 10 and continuing through Saturday January 18 – signifies a kind of celestial gauntlet that all human souls will need to pass through as a kind of astro-psychic rite of initiation before we all experience exceedingly intense transformations that lie ahead during a major

presidential election cycle for America and an elemental shift by the largest two planets – Jupiter and Saturn – from earth signs to air signs for the next 160 – 180 years, starting on December 21, 2020 when these two celestial bodies merge at 1 degree of Aquarius.

If you have never subscribed to our Daily Cosmic Kalendar or if you once did and let your subscription lapse, I urge you to reconnect with us by visiting the Astrology Shop at the top of our front page at www.greatbearenterprises.com to order a trial subscription for 1 month or order a 6-month, 1-year or 2-year subscription. 4 Key Dates of the Daily Cosmic Kalendar: January 10 – 13, 2020

Fri Jan 10 Intensity reigns supreme — not only today during a very potent solar-lunar crescendo coinciding with Uranus motionless — but during the next nine days, as will be explained during each 24-hour time-period between now and January 18. In the here and now, focus attention on carefully balancing home/family needs with career/professional aims as the enlightening Full Moon occurs at 11:22am (energizing 20 degrees of Capricorn and Cancer). Individual and group meditations are encouraged. Send out your healing thoughts and prayers to fellow, struggling earthlings and a frequently beleaguered Mother Nature. Before the Full Moon reaches exactitude the lunar orb trines Neptune (5:20am) — offering visions of the Great Beyond. This is enhanced via the Sun and Mercury forming inspirational, 72-degree links to rainbow-bridge builder Chiron (6:35am and 6:52am, respectively). A Superior Conjunction of the Sun and Mercury happens next at 7:21am and activating 20 degrees of Capricorn. The eminent astrologers Dane Rudhyar and Dr. Marc Edmund Jones referred to this as a Full Mercury in which human minds become very eager to assimilate cosmic seed-ideas. Meanwhile, some of this day’s intense vibrations emanate from provocative 45-degree contacts linking Mercury and the Sun with the red planet Mars (8:33am and 10:44am, respectively). Plus, it doesn’t necessarily contribute to maintaining a tranquil disposition that the Moon makes its monthly oppositions to Mercury (11:34am), Ceres (2:34pm), Saturn (3:44pm) and Pluto (3:59pm). Waiting in the wings — although active all-day — is the halt by Uranus in retrograde motion and shift direct (igniting 3 degrees of Taurus at 5:50pm). Zero in on the following major Uranus themes – surprises, revolution and radical change, intuition, eccentricity, the multi-media and high technology, advances in science and industry, aviation and space travel, the occult and metaphysics, jokers and wild cards, drawing

outside the box, anxiety and the nervous system, upheavals and anarchy. (Uranus stays in forward motion until August 15 when it will station again to go into reverse at 11 degrees of Taurus). Not to be outdone, the lunar orb begins a 12+ hour void uncertainty cycle at 3:59pm (during the monthly Moon-Pluto polarity) and this tricky lunar condition last until 4:17am tomorrow when the Moon enters fiery Leo. Do your best to get through today’s celestial obstacle course without abandoning your red badge of courage. Note: Today’s Full Moon as well as the Sun-Mercury Superior Conjunction occur in direct connection with the Heliocentric Nodes of Pluto — adding an extra dimension of pressure seeping in from the hidden recesses of Earth’s underworld kingdom. Sat Jan 11 Keep the Faith! Within the 9-day sequence of intensity mentioned in yesterday’s calendar entry, this Saturday should be considered a catch-your-breath and enjoy R & R 24-hour experience. While the immensity of Friday’s universal sledgehammer dynamism remains powerful (now as more of a subliminal undercurrent) and the void Moon in Cancer ends with the arrival of Leo Moon (4:17am), you may regain some problem-solving abilities as Venus forms a supportive, 60-degree alliance with Pallas (2:46am). Another way you can make sense of Friday’s onslaught — as well as what is ahead during the cosmic dramas Sunday and Monday — is by lifting your spirits in sync with a grand triangle in fire signs, composed of the Moon in Leo trine to Chiron in Aries (7:21am) and Mars in Sagittarius (1:55pm). Sports, exercise and various martial arts thrive under this type of stellar configuration. Mercury uniting with Ceres at 8:35pm and energizing 23 degrees of Capricorn provides a boost for nurturing elders and children. This resourceful alignment also has the capacity to strengthen productivity in your main fields of expertise. However, despite the lack of nefarious aspects occurring today, the next 48 hours rekindle what has descended into the psychic atmosphere of humanity at Friday’s Full Moon and station by always unpredictable Uranus. Gear up for the Sunday-Monday astro-zodiacal Super Storm by being a goodwill ambassador far and wide. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Standard Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]

Sun Jan 12 The universe is conducting a rare shock-and-awe campaign for the next 48-hours. Hang on to reality and the truth as far as you can understand them as the following four colossal conjunctions put human souls into a global whirring-blender type hazard zone — Mercury conjuncts Saturn and Pluto (1:52am and 2:15am, respectively) while Saturn unites with Pluto (9:00am) and then 12+ hours later Ceres makes its dicey rendezvous with Pluto (9:34pm). This proverbial Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse occurs at the same degree of the zodiac — 23 of Capricorn. And then the mighty Sun joins forces with Pluto, Saturn and Ceres at the same zodiacal place tomorrow. The main rare event is the Saturn-Pluto encounter which only happens about every 33 years, but because the Sun, Mercury and Ceres are present, this is what makes this time-period metaphorically akin to a runaway atomic-nuclear meltdown scenario. From the positive angle, your realizing that the Sun,

Mercury, Ceres, Saturn and Pluto are all squeezed into 23 degrees of Capricorn — which is also within 1 degree of the Heliocentric South Node of Saturn — may give you a fighting chance to enjoy exploring the creative arts and social activities under Leo Moon and laughing away the shadowy side of the moody blues. Continue to be a conveyer of TLC to dear ones on the edge as Sunday night morphs into Monday morning. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Standard Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]

Mon Jan 13 If you have managed to stay out of trouble over the past three days, there is still a big need to tough it out during this entire day. Everyone must deal with the following gauntlet of solar and planetary alignments — Ceres conjunct with Saturn (1:22am) and the Sun conjunct Pluto, Saturn and Ceres (5:22am, 7:17am and 9:58am, respectively). By the way, like yesterday, all four of these celestial unions occur at 23 degrees of Capricorn. While these possibly earth-shaking shenanigans are happening and spreading an increase in hard-to-decipher fear/worry/frustration around the world, parallels of the Sun with Saturn (12:58pm) and Mercury with Jupiter (9:09pm) add exclamation points to the heavenly disturbances of the last three days. Fortunately, following a brief 25-minute void lunar zone in Leo that begins at 5:43am and ends with the arrival of industrious Virgo Moon (6:08am), there is the sound of cheering from the peanut gallery as Venus enters empathic Pisces (10:40am) — the sign of its exaltation — while a grand triangle in earth signs beckons you from self-wrapped preservation cocoons as the Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus (10:30am) and Jupiter in Capricorn (10:08pm). Ride the Venusian wave in the last sign of the zodiac until February 7 and study metaphysics as though your life depends on it as the Moon in the sixth sign is fabulous for delving into research projects. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Standard Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]
