Global Hot Spot: The Cancer New Moon on July 9, 2021

Dateline Wednesday July 7, 2021: For those of you who are now enjoying the Astrology Cosmic Kalendar one day at a time – but who have not yet subscribed to be able to look several weeks into the future – here are the calendar entries for two very significant days (Thursday July 8 and Friday July 9). Because every day – beyond the current 24 hours that we define as one rotation of our celestial orb on its axis – has astro-zodiacal magic, mystery and wonder is why thousands of people around the world have been tuning into the Astrological Cosmic Kalendar for the last 40 years and since it was at the heart-center of our Welcome to Planet Earth pioneering astrology newspaper/magazine during the 1980s and 1990s.

The Cancer New Moon on July 9, 2021 can make an extraordinary impact in your personal life and for all of humanity. You can read more about this powerful solar-lunar union in one of the two future calendar entries below as well as tune into the day before, July 8, when several potent sky configurations are building up in advance of the New Moon. Please consider the merits of subscribing to the Astrology Cosmic Kalendar to strengthen your already developing skills as a seer who can tune into the future ahead of time.

From the favorable perspective and when looking over the New Moon chart calculated for Washington, D.C. (presented at the end of this feature), Ceres in Taurus is forming a close, 60-degree supportive sextile alliance to Neptune in Pisces while Ceres is exactly returning to its discovery placement at 24 degrees of Taurus from January 1, 1801. Ceres is the only stationary celestial body at the birth of the USA on July 4, 1776 and Ceres is also exactly at the 4th house cusp in the New Moon horoscope in our nation’s capital – signifying foundations and roots, and could represent the upcoming and important infrastructure bills being debated in Congress. What may contribute to discordant vibes are several tense alignments happening on both July 8 and July 9 that you can read about in the two Cosmic Kalendar descriptions below. In addition, please read the following paragraph about the asteroid Juno*.

*Important Note about “Dangerous Storms” in the Psychic Atmosphere: If national and international events develop in connection with Juno retrograde in Sagittarius close to the transiting Mean South Node of the Moon (both of which are directly opposite the USA Uranus and square the USA Ceres from July 4, 1776) that warrant greater explanation and analysis, I will provide more information on our website. Juno has many sterling and admirable qualities and archetypes, but when it manifests in a negative manner then rage by the disempowered, terrorist acts as well as atmospheric storms can manifest. We have already witnessed and experienced a blazing record of heat and fires moving through the USA Pacific Northwest and affecting British Columbia, Canada at the end of June and the beginning of July. Juno recently made a station to go retrograde on April 12 and will eventually station to go direct on August 2.

Future Cosmic Kalendar Entries for Thursday July 8 and Friday July 9 (All times are listed in PDT.)

Thursday July 8 With the Moon in Gemini in void mode until the lunar orb enters its natural abode of watery Cancer (6:52am), recall the usual keynote for a void-of-course lunar cycle that it is best to finish old business on a high note and not launch bold, new plans. Since the next New Moon is happening tomorrow at 6:18pm, all the hours today and until that moment on Friday constitute what is known as the dark-of-the-moon phase. This phase itself is akin to a void lunar zone from the perspective that activities begun around four weeks ago are in a winding down condition as the solar and lunar orbs begin their approach to unifying at the New Moon. In the meantime, the universe seems elated to be unrelenting in tossing human souls numerous curve balls. Today’s major-league type pitching techniques include Mercury square safety-security proponent Vesta (4:06am), the Sun forming a tense, 135-degree link to giant Jupiter (8:07am), Mercury moving on to make an, oblique 150-degree tie to Pluto (8:37am) and Venus in Leo at odds with Uranus in Taurus via a 90-degree square (12:26pm). With friends like these, who needs enemies? Thankfully, all hope is not lost as the Moon trines benevolent Jupiter (10:10am) and Vesta pulls away from its square to Mercury to trine far-away Pluto (4:54pm). Remember that the Moon traversing the region of the fourth sign of the zodiac is a boost for accomplishing as much as possible regarding spiffing up your residence and reaching out to family members with a loving heart. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]

Friday July 9 You can’t flip the switch into the next New Moon cycle until the solar and lunar orbs unite at 19 degrees of Cancer (6:18pm). Until that time — as reported in Thursday’s calendar entry — the dark-of-the-moon phase maintains a strong gravitational psychic hold on earthlings. And that translates as putting the finishing touches on odds and ends that have been a part of your overall activities during the last few weeks. If discordant vibes seem to be nipping at your heels, some blame should be directed at Mercury moving into an abrasive, 135-degree contact with Saturn (5:41am), Venus contra-parallel Saturn (6:03am) and Mercury moving on after the New Moon to square problem-solver and strategist Pallas Athena (8:54pm). Helping you to safely glide favorably toward the New Moon start of the next 29.5-day solar-lunar cycle is a Moon-Uranus supportive, 60-degree alliance (10:39am) and a stronger 60-degree connection between maternal Ceres in Taurus and visionary Neptune in Pisces (12:23pm). Enjoy reading biographies, studying history and taking a walk down memory lane in your personal life as everything ancestral is of great value under the aegis of this New Moon. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]
