The Battle of Lexington & Concord occurred on April 19, 1775 beginning the war that would later be called the American Revolution. The chart for the start of shots fired – made famous as “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World” in literature and poetry – is included at the end of this feature. Be aware that on April 19, 1993, the Waco Apocalypse happened (after a 51-day federal governmental siege) and then two years later to the day in 1995, the Oklahoma City Bombing happened. Then four years and one day later on April 20, 1999, the Columbine High School shootings shocked America and the world. The 30th degree of Aries – activated on April 19, 1775 and at the current Total-Annular Solar Eclipse – was also the placement of the red planet Mars on January 6, 2021 at the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. As astrologers have expressed for thousands of years as an aphorism to remember, Forewarned is Forearmed when it comes to sharing the Knowledge & Wisdom contained in the cosmic vibrations of the Sun, Moon, planets and starry heavens.
Dateline April 18, 2023: For those of you who are now enjoying the Astrology Cosmic Kalendar App one day at a time – but who have not yet subscribed to be able to look several weeks into the future – here are the calendar entries for the very potent hybrid Total-Annual Solar Eclipse and second New Moon in Aries on April 19 and the day after April 20. Because every day – beyond the current 24 hours that we define as one rotation of our celestial orb on its axis – has astro-zodiacal magic, mystery and wonder is why thousands of people around the world have been tuning into the Astrological Cosmic Kalendarfor the last 42 years and since it was at the heart-center of our Welcome to Planet Earth pioneering astrology newspaper/magazine during the 1980s and 1990s.
The main reasons this rare Solar Eclipse and second Aries New Moon — energizing 30 degrees of Aries— are extra significant are due to the Sun and Moon closely squaring underworld-ruler Pluto at 1 degree of Aquarius and this 30th degree of Aries being activated at very significant national events as explained in the first paragraph of this feature in connection to The Battle of Lexington and Concord, the Waco Apocalypse, the Oklahoma City Bombing, the Columbine High School shootings, and the placement of the red planet Mars on January 6, 2021 at the time of the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
(Note: The actual path of totality for this rare Solar Eclipse is in the southern hemisphere particularly in the area of Australia and East Timor, but the astrological-psychic-spiritual influences are felt everywhere on Earth.)

Future Cosmic Kalendar Entries for Wednesday April 19 and Thursday April 20 (All times are listed in PDT.)
Wednesday April 19 As indicated in yesterday’s calendar entry, the sky scenario is complex. With a combined Total-Annular Solar Eclipse happening at 9:14pm (activating 30 degrees of Aries), the hours leading up to this phenomenon are part of the monthly dark-of-the-moon cycle or Balsamic Moon Phase. Since the 29.5-day most recent solar-lunar relationship is ending, being too assertive is a no-no. It’s much more sensible to slow down and allow a cautious attitude to develop. This is reinforced since the Sun makes a contra-parallel with Saturn (2:51am). However, revelations still abound — thanks to maternal Ceres in Virgo forming a supportive, 60-degree alliance with problem-resolver Pallas Athena in Cancer (5:44am), Ceres moving on to make an inspirational, 72-degree quintile aspect with Mars in Cancer (8:08am) and followed by the self-confidence restoring monthly Moon-Jupiter union in Aries (10:28am). Once this rare type of Total-Annular Solar Eclipse becomes exact at 9:14pm, a short void-of-course lunar zone begins that lasts until the Moon enters earthy Taurus at 9:31pm. At this point, a new conundrum arrives since the Moon then quickly squares Pluto in Aquarius (10:06pm) leaving the Sun in temporary limbo at the end of Aries before the solar orb enters Taurus at 1:15am tomorrow. The bottom line is that Wednesday night’s merger into Thursday morning is somewhat akin to what occurred 24 hours earlier and it is wise to be extra careful in most activities as April 20 dawns. Remember that Mercury in Taurus continues to slow down as it will halt in the heavens early on Friday to go into retrograde motion. Thursday April 20 As Thursday begins, investment, insurance, safety-security issues and sisterhood bonds are front and center as the Moon in Taurus makes its monthly union with Vesta (1:11am). However, the Sun is still at the tail end of Aries for another 4 minutes until making its entry into Taurus at 1:15am. While the Moon forming its monthly rendezvous with its own North Node (5:14am) signifies the potential for your being a financial wizard and enjoying a motherlode of adventures in the realms of nature, the Sun’s first main aspect while in the second sign of the zodiac is a square to underworld ruler Pluto in Aquarius (9:28am). Being too egocentric and pushy is not the way to win the hearts and minds of dear ones, friends and colleagues. Feeling a surge of physical and emotional vitality can arrive when the Moon makes a supportive, 60-degree alliance with Mars in Cancer (9:38pm). The next main cosmic headline concerns the Moon moving on to make its monthly union with Messenger of the Gods Mercury at 1:07am on Friday just 29 minutes before Mercury makes its official stop at 16 degrees of Taurus to go retrograde until May 14. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]
