83-years ago in September 1940, what is now known as The Blitz occurred engulfing the City of London and surrounding areas in relentless air attacks by the Nazi Germany Luftwaffe. This atrocity happened between September 7, 1940 and May 11, 1941 until the Luftwaffe gave up and, in many ways, this incredible resistance by the British and their Prime Minister Winston Churchill (Sun-sign Sagittarius) led to the eventual demise of Adolf Hitler’s dream of a 1000-year Reich in April 1945. They will make their third conjunction of this year on September 27. Plus, be aware that less than 2 hours after the Equinox, Venus makes a harmonious trine alignment with shaman-mentor and healing-maestro Chiron in Aries.

Friday September 22 This is a major transition day as the Equinox arrives at 11:51pm when the Sun enters cardinal-air Libra. One of the four sacred turning-points of the year when the seasons begin, this upcoming three-month cycle is empowered by the solar life-force making a potent, 135-degree aspect to Jupiter in Taurus (11:50pm) happening just one minute before the Equinox. For the two largest celestial bodies to hook up at the start of a season is a reminder to strengthen your optimistic thought process and avoid overdoing a good thing that could spoil key plans and delay reaching crucial goals. In the meantime during the hours earlier, know what you are doing and where you are going. Tensions develop in sync with the Moon in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces (6:38am) along with a dicey, 135-tie between Mars in Libra and Saturn in Pisces (8:24am). Since the First Quarter Sun-Moon Phase is also in effect at 12:33pm (energizing 30 degrees of Virgo and Sagittarius), it is wise to keep a safe distance from any crisis-producing activities. This quarter moon time also starts a short 48-minute void zone that lasts until the Moon enters earthy Capricorn (1:21pm). Saturday September 23 The intense vibes of Friday — with several strong sky cycles and the start of a new season as the Sun and Jupiter forge a powerful, 135-degree aspect — move more into a subliminal zone as more fortuitous heavenly alignments take their place. As indicated at the close of yesterday’s calendar entry, affairs of the heart and healing dynamics are reinforced as Venus in Leo forms a harmonious trine with Chiron in Aries (1:18am). Does this liaison sound familiar? It should because this is the third Venus-Chiron trine following earlier ones on June 29 and August 14. Your career-professional aims are in the spotlight and given a boost as a Grand Triangle develops with the Moon in Capricorn making trines to Mercury in Virgo (11:25am) and Jupiter in Taurus (3:14pm). While your forward momentum can surge, keep your eyes on the prize since Mercury moves on to form a tense, 135-degree contact with Pluto in Capricorn (4:17pm) and the Moon makes squares to Mars in Libra (8:18pm) and Chiron (9:08pm).
