Edmond Halley, born November 8, 1656 (new style calendar), English astronomer, mathematician and physicist, and second Astronomer Royal in England, became famous for discovering a periodically returning comet – with an approximate orbital cycle around the Sun of 75 years – that had been seen around the world for centuries. That celestial visitor is named Halley’s Comet and last appeared in 1986 and will come back again toward the Earth and Sun in 2061.
(Note: Mark Twain, born November 30, 1835 when Halley’s Comet appeared, predicted in his 1909 autobiography that he anticipated he would pass away when Halley’s Comet returned in 1910. He died on April 21, 1910 within one day of the perihelion or closest approach of Halley’s Comet to the Sun.)

Magnifying the significance of what you do are the following stellar alignments — the Moon unites with Uranus (4:48am) and Mercury forms a contra-parallel with Uranus (5:37am), the Moon squares Saturn in Aquarius (8:21am), the Sun forms what’s known as the Superior Conjunction with Mercury at 17 degrees of Scorpio (8:44am as the Earth, the Sun and Mercury line up in the solar system), the Moon makes its monthly opposition to Venus in Scorpio (11:52am) and Mercury forms its annual opposition to Uranus in Taurus (6:41pm). That’s actually not the end of this cavalcade of sky configurations since the Moon forms a supportive, 60-degree tie to Neptune in Pisces (3:55pm) while making a flowing trine to Pluto in Capricorn (10:39pm), plus throughout this 24-hour time-period the largest asteroid Ceres in Virgo receives a trine from the Moon in earth signs (3:56am) while first Mercury and then the Sun connect with Ceres via supportive, 60-degree alignments at 2:37pm and 8:22pm. Clearly, this Tuesday November 8, 2022 is one for the record books. The question is how well will you respond to the wealth of celestial patterns and be a force for Good in the world? Be aware that as Wednesday dawns, the Sun in Scorpio – following the lead of the Messenger of the Gods planet Mercury – makes its annual polarity to Uranus in Taurus at 12:27am. Adding to the capacity to tune into ingenious ideas is the annual Sun in Scorpio polarity to Uranus in Taurus (12:27am). Making this potentially shock-inducing opposition more palatable and user-friendly is the Moon in Taurus making a supportive, 60-degree alliance with Jupiter in Pisces (4:01am) while Ceres in Virgo forms a harmonious trine to Uranus (6:28am). Be aware that the Moon-Jupiter liaison begins a void-of-course cycle that lasts until the lunar orb enters airy Gemini (5:38am). Whenever the Moon transits the third sign of the zodiac, enjoy several hours of literary explorations via reading classics of your beloved novelists and poets. Have fun playing a musical instrument or immersing yourself in a favorite hobby. Meanwhile, keep a safe distance from stress and loss of self-confidence as Mercury in Scorpio moves away from its conjunction with the Sun and opposition to Uranus on Wednesday by making a frictional square to Saturn in Aquarius (11:53pm).
