The Sagittarius-Gemini Full Moon – which arrives at 1:17am PST on Monday November 27, 2023 – represents a super-charged energy-field that will dominate the psychic atmosphere of humanity and Mother Earth during the next 2+ weeks. All the traditional themes of the communication, transportation, literary, business and educational 3rd and 9th signs of the zodiac will be present and your job as an enlightened earthling is to take the best of these deeply-transformational archetypes and turn them into soul-uplifting vibrations that reshape the direction of our beloved home planet for the Highest Good.
When looking at the horoscope calculated for Washington, D.C., problem-solver and master-strategist Pallas Athena in Scorpio is within three degrees of the Ascendant and closely trines soul-sister and safety-security asteroid Vesta at 5+ degrees of Cancer (which is the exact placement of Jupiter in the USA birth chart from July 4, 1776). You will notice that the Sun is close to the red planet Mars and the solar and lunar orbs are energizing the second and eighth houses traditionally associated with a wide range of financial matters and business issues. Clearly, there is a focus on the business-financial climate that our political leaders seem to be constantly embroiled with in our nation’s capital.
From the global perspective when looking at the World Map, there are extreme tensions – which is not surprising considering the tragic events related to Israel & Gaza over the past 7 weeks – in the Middle East as the Sun and Mars are overhead, the Sun adds on an oblique, readjustment-requiring 150-degree aspect to Vesta in Cancer while the Moon is below. In addition, Messenger of the Divine Mercury in Sagittarius forms a frictional square of 90-degrees to far-out and often confusion-generating Neptune in Pisces at this Full Moon and Earth Mother largest asteroid Ceres, which has just recently entered fiery Sagittarius, makes its own potent square alignment to formidable, paternal and hopefully sensible Saturn in Pisces.
Two other slow-moving outer planets, Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn are super-active in surrounding regions including the territorial areas in the now nearly 2-year old Russia-Ukraine war. Uranus is below in this part of the world while Pluto is rising. Uranus can signify shocks, surprises and hard-to-decipher anomalous actions and behavior, and it is also considered by astrologers to be the “higher-octave” planet to Mercury. As such Uranus is connected strongly to breakthroughs in higher consciousness, lightning-like realizations, and bold ideas that can change the course of the future in a positive, life-affirming way. Meanwhile, America is still experiencing its first-ever volatile, intense and extreme Pluto Return in late-Capricorn since The Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 and this very important and rare synchronicity is in turn affecting every nation around the world in clandestine and mysterious ways.
Remember that Venus, the peace-maker planet over the millennia, is now currently in cardinal-air Libra – a sign Venus rules. The traditional love-heart goddess gets into the act by making an oblique, but powerful 150-aspect with Uranus in Taurus (the other sign Venus rules) the day before the Full Moon and on the day after the Full Moon, the lunar orb in Gemini will make a harmonious trine with Venus. This is another reason our beloved Mother Earth is being energized so powerfully particularly in the social, humanitarian and geopolitical sphere of influence. Ceres in Sagittarius tangles with Saturn in Pisces via a square aspect (4:19am) and just a little over an hour later Mercury in Sagittarius makes its on frictional square with Neptune in Pisces (5:29am), and then 5+ hours afterwards, the Sun in Sagittarius hassles soul-sister, investment-promoter Vesta in Cancer via an oblique, 150-degree encounter (10:54am). Why the cosmos is acting so obnoxiously now and over the last few days remains shrouded in mystery. A straight-forward and supportive, 60-degree alliance between the Moon in Gemini and shaman-mentor Chiron in Aries (8:59pm) can become a breath of fresh air and healing tonic. You receive support from a mind-empowering, 144-degree bi-quintile aspect linking Mercury in Sagittarius with Uranus in Taurus (9:46am) plus a harmonious trine connecting the Moon in Gemini with Venus in Libra (9:56am). Since these two auspicious aspects happen only 10 minutes apart, they are a dynamic duo offering you gains on the literary, artistic, educational and business horizons. However, overdoing a good thing or thinking you have the world by a string can lead to unexpected troubles as Jupiter makes a rare contra-parallel with Saturn (4:05pm).
