Saturday April 30 On the last day of March, the fiery Aries New Moon took place close to Chiron, and now a little over four weeks later, the earthy Taurus New Moon — also a Partial Solar Eclipse — occurs on this last day of April at 1:29pm. Before this big event arrives on the scene, keep in mind that yesterday’s Pluto archetypes are still operating at full tilt and the dark-of-the-moon phase, often mimicking the shadowy vibes of a void lunar zone, are super-active. In addition, Pallas Athena decides to enter Taurus (1:51am) in a profound cycle for this crucial asteroid that lasts until July 4. It is wise to hold off on taking any giant leaps ahead until the Partial Solar Eclipse/New Moon (energizing 11 degrees of Taurus) actually occurs. Once that happens, a very auspicious conjunction becomes an extra beacon of euphoria and creativity for all humans as Venus and Jupiter form their annual conjunction at 28 degrees of Pisces (2:15pm). These two planets are the traditional benevolent celestial orbs that have been acting, most of the time, as guardian angel type influences overseeing the higher destinies of so many souls traveling aboard the Earth. Thus, Venus uniting with Jupiter — in sync with the solar-lunar merger — is quite a profound and joy-inducing cosmic statement for everyone as May begins tomorrow. Plus, it certainly helps that two extra fortuitous alignments give you vital momentum as Ceres in Gemini trines Saturn in Aquarius (4:50pm) followed by the second time this month that the Moon in Taurus unites with intuition-illuminating Uranus (9:25pm). Make this day a winner in every way as the Sun-Moon and Venus-Jupiter nearly simultaneous mergers constitute a rare celestial event that ancient magi/sky watchers would marvel over and think to be a portent of a vast increase in Good Fortune materializing and the proverbial Pot of Gold suddenly appearing at the end of the rainbow. Sunday May 1 Golden opportunities to make forward progress in many fields of endeavor are present following yesterday’s potent Partial Solar Eclipse/New Moon combined with the cosmic goodies always available when Venus joins forces with Jupiter. Adding to the overall high vibrations are a supportive, 60-degree alliance between Venus in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn (3:38am) plus a Venus-Jupiter parallel (5:44am) that reawakens their zodiacal union from less than 24 hours ago. The Moon’s transit in earthy Taurus reminds you to focus attention on financial matters and enjoying explorations along favorite nature trails. The lunar orb making a conjunction with its own Mean North Node (2:12pm) is an extra celestial signal to be gung-ho in your well-planned pursuits. The main obstacle to contentment emanates from a frictional square aspect between Ceres in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces (11:51am). Being sensitive to the needs of dear ones and steering clear of an overload of egocentric behavior patterns can go a long way to neutralize any flak coming from this Ceres-Neptune sky joust.
